About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - Finance to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate .
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Statutory Reporting & Tax Compliance:
Prepare reporting for statutory purposes for all legal entities under JH&R.
Prepare consolidation models/workings of all statutory levels of consolidation.
Effective and efficient execution of the Groups compliance with statutory financial statement requirements.
Assist in liaison with external audit and government audit during planning phases.
Assist in Corporate Finance projects and technical matters resolution, as required.
Treasury
Co-ordinate cash flow forecasting for Jumeirah International to help anticipate funding needs and make informed financial decisions, including the placement of fixed deposits.
Manage relationships with local and international banks, payment providers and credit card providers to identify and implement cash management solutions and resolve issues.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to provide accurate and timely financial reporting for treasury related activities.
Insurance:
Manage the end-to-end insurance claims process to ensure timely and accurate claims processing for Jumeirah International.
Facilitate contract reviews related to insurance on behalf of the company.
About you:
Bachelor’s Degree
Big 4 Accounting firm background (preferred).
6 years minimum of relevant experience (essential), including exposure to international companies (preferred).
Qualified Chartered/Certified accountant (preferred).
Proficiency in English (essential), other foreign languages (preferred)
Good interpersonal skills (essential)
