For the Good of Tomorrow

Leaders of Tomorrow, Dubai Holding Graduate Programme has a vacancy for a Senior Executive – Corporate General Ledger (GL) and Landbank, reporting to the Assistant Director – Corporate General Ledger and Landbank. The role holder will support the General Ledger (GL) and Landbank team and perform GL activities including financial reconciliations, month end financial closing and reporting in compliance with accounting policies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in verification of landbank titles deeds as per finance records with DLD (Dubai Land Department) and DDA (Dubai Development Authority) systems.

  • Validate if the plot owner as per DLD and DDA portals is in line with the title deed record held by finance and identify any exceptions noted.

  • Assist in preparation of intercompany and related party reconciliations, identify reconciling items and take necessary steps to resolve the same.

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and financial statement workbooks and ensure the numbers in the financial statements match the financial statements workbooks.

  • Support the line Manager in assimilation of data to support numbers as per the financial statements.

  • Cast and cross-refer financial statements to detect unpaid invoices, accounting errors, duplicate entries and wrong general accounts in order to create reliable financial reports.

  • Assist with any other ad-hoc requests received to support the relevant Manager.

Who we are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above (or equivalent).

  • Maximum 1-year has surpassed since graduation year date.

  • Completion or exemption of UAE National Service (if applicable).

  • Previous internship/training experience is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently in English.

  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities or community initiatives during university.

Education / Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
