About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Breakfast Team Leader to join our team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab . The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Lead the team by setting a positive example, demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity in all interactions.
Ensure all guests are greeted and served professionally, maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Accurately identify and fulfill guest needs and expectations, including those with special requirements, by providing personalized service and information.
Conduct pre-shift briefings for staff in your area of responsibility or section, ensuring all team members are informed and aligned with directives from middle or higher management.
Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines, fostering a culture of adherence and continuous improvement.
Fulfill any reasonable management requests outside of regular duties that fall within the scope of the job.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas, to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist to enhance their dining experience, such as suggesting menu items, offering refills, and accommodating special requests.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery, minimizing wait times and ensuring food and beverage quality.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints tactfully and professionally, escalating issues to management as needed to ensure swift resolution.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and overall performance, contributing to personal growth and team success.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A minimum of one year and six months experience as a senior waiter in a luxury hotel or a high-end standalone restaurant, demonstrating a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
Proficiency in English is required, ideally complemented by proficiency with a second language (Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German or Greek).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required to work Breakfast within The Fore.
