The Business Office Coordinator is primarily responsible for all of the site-specific administrative tasks relating to resident monthly billing and paperwork associated with moves within the community, including both admission and discharge. This includes insuring that all of the appropriate paperwork, forms, documentation are completed and processed in coordination with the company accounts payable and accounts receivable departments in a timely and organized manner.
The Business Office Coordinator would:
verify mailing addresses.
verify insurance information.
Provide benevolent care policy, when requested, to residents and collect all necessary documentation for new applications or renewals and submit to the WEL Finance department.
Assists WEL billing department with collections of SNF balances as needed.
Mail the completed Medicaid applications.
File appeals for denied Medicaid application and attend the Medicaid appeal hearings.
Disburse cash as requested by residents in conjunction with the WEL billing department.
Perform other duties as required.
