Oracle Principal Sales Consultant- Financials in Dover, Delaware

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic individual to provide pre-sales support for our Cloud ERP solutions, which include Financials, Indirect Procurement and Projects. The right person must be a highly motivated individual with the experience, competence, and interest to learn these offerings in-depth and position them with credibility to both existing customers and prospects in driven evaluations. The position involves a variety of pre-sales tasks, most importantly delivering compelling demonstrations that address the prospect’s requirements in a way that leaves the customer eager to move forward with Oracle.

As a Financials domain expert, you will be responsible for not only supporting standalone Financials opportunities, but also working with peers on larger opportunities that include other solution components. You will conduct the full range of pre-sales activities, which include the following: respond to RFPs; meet with functional customers to understand their current processes and objectives for change; leverage and share industry standard processes when formulating and discussing solutions to customer issues; extract value drivers to formulate points of view regarding return on investment; and deliver compelling demos. Through these interactions, you will create for the customer a vision for a better tomorrow with Oracle’s solutions.

Once you have mastered Cloud Financials, you will learn other solutions based on a combination of your interest/experience and Oracle’s customer demand. A broader set of knowledge will translate into more opportunity to contribute, which should make the job more interesting and rewarding. As such, while staying on top of new capabilities in Financials, you will also be expected to add related products to your portfolio. This could include indirect Procurement, Risk Mgmt, Project Management, and Revenue Mgmt.

Beyond deals, you will also work with Sales on account analysis and strategy to drive new demand for Oracle’s offerings.
