Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Oasis Pool on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis. NOTE: This position is temporary, NOT TO EXCEED 15-SEP-2025. Responsibilities Performs duties as a cashier-checker at the Oasis Pool. Operates cash register or cash drawer, to correctly receive money and make change from pool customers. Ensures all patrons are authorized pool customers by checking ID cards and pool passes. Monitors customer sign-in sheets to ensure customer completeness in an accurate manner and collects appropriate fees. Safeguards all funds in accordance with applicable guidance and instructions. Clears the cash register/cash drawer, counts money, separates change fund from cash receipts and completes all required cash accountability forms at the end of each shift. Places cash receipts, change fund and accountability forms in the bank deposit bag and turns it in to the pool supervisor on duty. Maintains pool entrance and cashier area in a clean and orderly condition. Performs other related duties as assigned by the pool supervisor on duty. May be required to work non-standard shifts, evenings and weekends as required. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Education This position does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.
