We’re seeking for an Event Service Manager (Banquets) to successfully run our events operation of our new property in Doha, this is a great opportunity if the following describes you:

You are a dynamic and passionate individual who comes with wealth of experience in managing banquet operation particularly in a luxury hotel group or a high-end stand-alone restaurant with exquisite standards. You’re personable and able to draw people naturally to create authentic & professional relationship particularly with guests. You’re a natural leader who leads by example and seeks to be motivated by challenges along the way. Fluent in English is mandatory, Arabic highly preferred.

This candidate should be a South African nationality preferably.

Qualifications:

Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship, or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.

· Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Events Manager or Banquet Manager role.

· Great knowledge in VIP event management & day-to-day operations.

· Well-versed in operational standards, managing manpower cost & driving financial goals

· Comprehensive knowledge of business needs and productivity requirements

· Strong communication and leadership skills

· Excellent administrative, customer service and interpersonal skills

· A can-do attitude

· Candidates should be extremely detailed oriented managing social as well as corporate events on regular basis
