ASRC Federal Holding Company Insider Threat Specialist in DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, District Of Columbia

ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a dynamic self-starter with experience in Insider Threat Security (IntSEC) discipline to support the Pentagon's Joint Service Security Office (JSSO). As part of its IntSEC mission, the Joint Staff Security Office is responsible for the establishing an Insider Threat Program (InTP) to identify and mitigate Insider Threats to Joint Staff information or assets, such as personnel or facilities. The Joint Staff InTP will be in accordance with Federal, DoD, and Joint Staff directives, and will ensure that appropriate security safeguards are in place to protect against insider threat actions.

The IntSEC Specialist shall support the Joint Staff Insider Threat Program (InTP) management activities and develop recommendations for Government approval and update Joint Staff Insider Threat policies and procedures by performing the following Insider Threat related tasks:

  • Insider Threat Program Management and Policy Support

  • Insider Threat Training

  • Hub Operations

  • Records Management

Requirements

  • Applicant must possess knowledge of, and experience in, the IntSEC discipline and have the skills and abilities to enable successful accomplishment of the contract's assigned JSSO mission.

  • Applicant must have knowledge and an understanding of security concepts, principles, and practices necessary to review, analyze, and resolve complex issues.

  • Applicant must possess the skills in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the overall security program; as well as the ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

  • This position requires a working knowledge of the US Government Security Programs, with special emphasis on the understanding of various phases of security programs and implementation.

  • Applicant must be able to make complete and correct security determinations within the realm of assigned responsibility and specialty.

  • Must have current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required

Education/Experience:

  • Applicant must have 6-8 years of Insider Threat Security experience

  • Applicant required to have the NITTF Hub Operations Course, Fundamentals of CI & Security, Conducting InT Response Actions, Civil Liberties and Privacy, and Requirements for Investigative Referrals.
