Purpose/Description

Reporting to the Team Leader of Systems Engineering, the Department Executive 1 (Systems Engineer 1){target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"} involves developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing new processes and systems, updating and enhancing existing systems, performing root-cause analysis and problem resolution, and meeting the needs and objectives of the County. The Department Executive 1 will perform a full range of system support functions requiring a technical computer support background. Work is performed under supervision.

Educational/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline from a recognized college or university, and one year of experience in an IT environment with at least 100 users
  • OR
  • High School diploma; AND
  • Three years of experience supporting an IT environment with at least 100 users.
