Essential functions (job duties):
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) Supervisor. In this role, you will play a key part in training and coaching interviewers, executing shift call plans, ensuring the quality of our survey operations by conducting evaluations, and fostering a productive and friendly work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in supervising a team of 20 CATI stations, interviewers, and support staff to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency are maintained.
Assist in the day-to-day oversight and quality control aspects of the CATI lab, including training, scheduling, assigning staff to project tasks, and supervising and performing ongoing assessment of interviewers working in CATI lab and remotely.
Assist in Quality Control Monitoring: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of telephone interviews.
Assist in Productivity and Efficiency: Maintain and cultivate a high level of productivity and efficiency among the interviewing team and support staff.
Daily Reporting: Monitor data collection progress and call dispositions and provide regular updates to project leads and leadership.
Flexible Schedule: Work a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:30am-9:30pm, including Saturdays and Sundays, to accommodate the varying availability of survey participants.
Collaborate with others regarding data management, and in the planning and implementation of data quality assurance plans.
Prepare regular updates to Center Director and Managing Director.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CATI supervisory experience, demonstrating competence in training of interviewers, especially in an academic setting.
Language Skills:A good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Pressure Handling:Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Problem-Solving:Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Organizational Skills:Well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
Education: Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CATI supervision skills and experience, including performance assessment, are required.
Demonstrated experience in using CATI software is required. Computer programming capability, including CATI programming software, is an advantage.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Flexible and adaptable style; a professional and resourceful style; the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative, and to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time.
Strong diplomatic skills to present, and to answer questions and concerns effectively.
Outstanding oral communication skills.
