Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Public Health Accountant. This person will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the Public Health Services department. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, oversees budgeting and financial reporting, and manages grants and contracts.
Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing public health funding and expenditures.
Grant Administration: Manage grants and contracts, including preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with policies and procedures.
Billing and Reconciliation: Handle billing processes, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.
Staff Supervision: Supervise accounting personnel and coordinate their activities.
