R1 RCM Project Manager, Client Onboarding in Detroit, Michigan

The mission of the Client Onboarding team is to efficiently implement the products our clients have chosen to partner with us while delivering the best customer experience. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading several of these implementations simultaneously and reporting on delivery timelines, project statuses and risks. The successful candidate must have demonstrated critical thinking skills, be highly organized, and enjoy fostering team and client relationships. In this role, you will also be responsible for problem-solving and identifying the correct pathway of escalation to mitigate and solve issues quickly.
Here's what you will experience working as a Project Manager, Client Onboarding:
Manage multiple project implementations simultaneously and effectively prioritize associated tasks
Understand client and internal needs, and make decisions to ensure both are met throughout the implementation while successfully adhering to our cycle times
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to client executive sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion
Maintain accurate project timeline tracking, including communication of risks, proactive resolution of obstacles, thoughtful estimations of future tasks, and communication of progress with all levels of internal stakeholders
Create and maintain client-facing collateral to clearly communicate implementation updates, catered to the proper audience
Contribute to the development of internal processes and related documentation for the team to leverage as a part of our ongoing improvement
Actively participate in team culture by engaging with colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment, while supporting and encouraging team members to achieve their best
Required Skills:
A minimum of two years of experience in project management
Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking with client executives, and able to speak in detail about technical work
Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in varying stages of progress without loss of efficiency or effectiveness
Positive attitude, passionate about building relationships and collaborating across several teams to yield results
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and various Project Management and presentation tools
Desired Skills:
Experience working in Salesforce and Aprika Mission Control as a tool to manage projects (tasks, timelines, etc.)
Familiar with the Healthcare Revenue Cycle industry, including its processes, regulations, and best practices
Leverage AI tools such as Copilot to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and automate routine tasks
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $59,282.00 - $110,424.03 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
