Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team, working Monday through Saturday from 4:00pm to 2:00am. Production halts at 10:00pm, allowing for maintenance, preventive maintenance (PMs), and project work to occur between 10:00pm and 2:00am before the first shift begins. You will be part of a close-knit team of five maintenance personnel, focusing 80% on mechanical maintenance and 20% on electrical maintenance throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance, primarily on conveyor systems, including monitoring and maintaining drive shafts, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, and lubrication.
Conduct PMs, welding (TIG/MIG), plumbing/piping, refrigeration, and air compressor maintenance.
Troubleshoot and perform electrical maintenance on relay logic and PLC-driven machines, without programming requirements.
Engage in proactive PMs by monitoring equipment and performing necessary repairs.
Respond to work orders and address breakdowns, averaging 15 breakdowns per day.
Document all maintenance activities in a notebook to serve as a reference and training resource.
Essential Skills
3-5+ years of conveyor maintenance experience, including PMs, drive shafts, gearboxes, sprockets, cams, chains, and motors.
5+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience with conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pumps, welding, refrigeration, plumbing/piping, and machinery.
2+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience, including relay/PLC troubleshooting, tracing, and input/output work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food/baking environments.
Refrigeration and plumbing/piping experience.
Welding skills in TIG and MIG.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
