Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Audit Consultant to join their team. As an IT Audit Consultant, you will be part of the audit department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to integrity, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Audit Consultant
Location: Detroit, MI
What's the Job?
Support control risk management, IT controls, and related regulatory and compliance standards.
Perform internal audit assurance activities (financial, operational, compliance, IT, SOX, SOC reporting, etc.), and propose suggestions for process automation and other technology-oriented solutions.
Review documentation for control testing activities, including for general IT controls, automated controls, reports, and interfaces.
Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and implement products and services.
Create internal control documentation for the engagement, including process and data flows, and other supporting work papers.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 4 years IT Audit experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred.
Certification as CPA, CIA, CISA, and/or PMP preferred.
Experience working in an ambiguous environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
