Actalent CQC Supervisor in Detroit, Michigan
Actalent is partnering with a Dredging and Marine Engineering company to hire Traveling CQC Supervisors to support their projects. The CQC Supervisor will work with the Army Corp of Engineers on the creation of shorelines and waterways, the deepening of ports and harbors, and the restoration of aquatic habitats.
Job Duties:
Overseeing and monitoring the inspection of a project before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with all safety and quality specifications.
Responsible for submitting daily QC reports to RMS
Will be responsible for submitting surveys and documentation in RMS
Work as liaison between USACE ad client
Qualifications:
Ability to work in both the office and field
5 years current related project experience
Must have USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification
Experience using RMS
Must be open to traveling and be able to manage out of town work
Office time 50% - in the office
Field time 50% - engineers work in trailers on site

USACE, CQC, CQM, DREDGING, excavation, bridge, levy, waterway, submittal, subcontractor, excavation, levy, marine construction
Skills & Qualifications:
USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification
5 years current construction experience
Must have previous dredging, levy or marine construction experience.
College level degree in engineering, construction management or other related field is a plus
