The Facility Procurement Manager leads supply related activities for a facility to deliver excellence and integration between procurement and the team supporting facility.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Leading the execution of delivering a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points.
Managing team that is responsible for operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time.
Ensuring the supplier network is capable of meeting the specific facilities’ Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) requirements.
Collaborating with business partners and suppliers and resolving facility specific supplier issues.
Skills you will bring to the role:
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Problem Management Process - MFG: Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Operational Functions: Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
Purchasing Tasks and Activities: Knowledge of policies, regulations and processes of purchasing; ability to use practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services.
Education/Skillset:
Extensive experience within Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics
Microsoft – In particular Teams, Outlook, Excel (Vlookup/Formulas), Powerpoint & PowerBi
Desired:
Degree qualified
Experience within construction manufacturing industry

Job Title: Facility Procurement Manager (12 month contract)
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience
