Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in providing mechanical service and technical support to users of industrial machinery, particularly machine tools. Your expertise will be utilized predominantly at customer sites, offering troubleshooting, repairs, and technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites across North, Central, and South America to service machine tools, including troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, installation, start-up programming, and customer training.

  • Be available for emergency dispatch to customer sites as required.

  • Offer telephone service support to customers when working from the office or home.

  • Maintain exceptional customer service skills and build effective internal and external working relationships.

  • Possess a valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Hold a passport or equivalent travel document for necessary international travel.

  • Manage financial resources effectively to support unrestricted domestic and international travel until expense reimbursements are processed.

  • Safely lift up to 70 pounds and work in awkward positions such as kneeling, bending, and reaching under or above machines.

  • Comply with drug, background , and health screenings as required by customer facility standards.

Essential Skills

  • At least 3 years of mechanical experience or relevant technical college/military experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
