Overview: The R&D Cloud & Information Security Manager will be part of our Research & Development Architecture and Foundational Infrastructure department, responsible for the development and integration of robust security practices across our R&D applications' deployment and runtime in the cloud. This role involves both people and technical project management. Candidates should have a strong background in both implementing security practices and managing AWS and GCP using Terraform.
Responsibilities:

Leading and managing the Information Securityand Core Cloud Engineering teams.
Providing knowledge and training in AWS, GCP, and Azure architecture and security patterns.
Writing and supporting Terraform for managing Infrastructure as Code and security rules.
Work with and implement NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Work with Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure work is done to our cyber security standards.
Participating in an on-call rotation for team-owned services.
Requirements:
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?
3+ years of demonstrated people leadership and project management
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
5+ years of experience in a software engineering or information security role.
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration.
3+ years of experience with using Infrastructure as Code to manage AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong background in information security practices and principles.
Preferences:
Programming experience in Python, Node, and/orC#
Experience with the DataDogobservability platform.
