Aerotek HVAC And Plumbing Apprentice in Des Moines, Iowa

* HVAC AND SHEET METAL OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE *

Des Moines, IA

Pay: $18-$30 Hourly Starting Wage (Weekly Pay)

Monday - Friday / 7am - 5pm / Available OT on Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems

  • Carry out basic plumbing tasks under the guidance of licensed plumbers

  • Help in troubleshooting plumbing issues and implementing solutions

  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Work Environment:

  • This job is performed in both indoor and outdoor working elements.

  • Work is performed on a large/active construction site with lots of equipment and material being moved around consistently.

  • Community work environment - multiple construction crews with various locations around site.

  • Required to wear steel-toed work boots and jeans. Will be provided PPE gear.

Requirements:

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Must have some experience with power tools, hand tools, willing to train anyone with good attitude and work tenure.
