Job Title: Construction Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager capable of managing multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously within construction settings. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing and executing project schedules with milestones and critical paths, coordinating effectively with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and execute project schedules with milestones and critical paths, coordinating with project teams.

  • Perform accurate subcontractor and supplier scope analysis.

  • Accurately perform complete construction estimates and present to customers.

  • Review and approve invoices.

  • Provide precise communication to team members, owners, and architects.

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly progress meetings to manage project budgets and achieve financial objectives.

  • Validate time and expenses to stay within budget and accurately track work performance.

  • Maintain effective relationships and partnerships with customers, management, field staff, and subcontractors.

  • Read, comprehend, and implement project drawings and specifications.

  • Provide accurate and timely submittals for approval and maintain schedules.

  • Follow organizational processes, reporting, and risk mitigation measures.

  • Engage in industry networking events and continuing education.

  • Manage existing and develop new customer relationships.

Work Environment

The work environment involves being a part of a full-service commercial general contractor team providing services within Corporate Workplace, Private Education, Multi-Housing, Building Repurposing, Hospitality, and Healthcare/Wellness sectors. The role requires flexibility in working hours from Monday to Friday, typically from 7/8 AM to 5 PM, with the office located downtown but primarily focusing on jobsites. The attire includes jeans, work boots, and appropriate sweatshirts or t-shirts. The Des Moines office has been operational since 2020, and the team is composed of up to 15 members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
