Your opportunity

  • Lead and support architecture activities that guide the development of the corporate technology solutions

  • Focus on specialization in the Corporate Technology domain where you will help to define best practices and patterns

  • Work on tasks/projects delegated by the Solution Architect

  • Translate Solution Architect's proposed high-level solution into an integrated system and provide in-depth technological insight on matters like hardware / software specifics, along with data / integration mappings and diagrams

  • Participate in the design and implementation of solutions, providing hands-on direction to develop efficient and scalable solutions that align with the company's business objectives

  • Work closely with business and technical teams to build strong relationships, understand needs, analyze requirements, and ensure communication across the organization

  • Provide guidance to development teams, steering them towards the successful execution of projects that align with JHI's architectural patterns and practices

  • Participate in guiding the overall technology strategy through knowledge sharing, reviewing and analyzing technologies that are a strategic fit for the organization, and planning for future developments

  • Mitigate potential risks and ensure that designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards through considering governance, compliance, and risk management

  • Drive continuous innovation through staying current with new technologies and architectural approaches, while mentoring others in doing the same

    Must have skills

  • Knowledge of various aspects of an enterprise technology architecture like business, information, data, network, and security

  • Knowledge of various backend and frontend development languages as well as various database technologies

  • Knowledge and understanding of different modeling languages and methodologies

  • Solid grasp of application development methodologies, along with infrastructure and network architecture

  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills

  • Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making

  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Ability to thoroughly understand current-state business problems, then translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into architectural proposals and diagrams

  • Trusted and respected as a leader with a vision who can influence and persuade our business partners, IT leaders, and IT development teams

  • Technology neutral: remains unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor choice, and is more interested in results than personal preferences

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies, to successfully supporting agile teams by providing advice/guidance on technical and architectural opportunities, impacts, debt and risks

  • Technical knowledge or experience in the following data languages or toolsets: AutoSys, Azure Function App, Azure GIT, Azure Portal, C#, Databricks, GraphQL / Graph API, Informatica CDI, Informatica Power Center, Java, Javascript, Snowflake, PowerBI, PyRecs, Python, Selenium, Spark, and SQL

    Nice to have skills

  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of architectural alternatives

  • Existing knowledge of the operational processes and technologies within the following business functions: Risk & Compliance, Legal, Finance, HR, Business Process Automation, and the Digital Workplace

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted until April 30, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
