Senior Piping / Mechanical Engineer Denver, CO Purpose of the Role: As a Senior Piping / Mechanical Engineer, you will provide Piping / Mechanical engineering services to Worley, and its customers and will provide technical support for the mechanical team.

Responsibilities: Perform pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II. Lead mechanical engineering project team. Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budg Identify and report changes to project scope. Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules. Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations, and write purchase orders. Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions. Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best overall design. Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering. Assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team. Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. Perform Pipe Stress Calculations and Create Pipe Stress ISOs Check Pipe Stress Calculations and ISOs produced by others. Perform root cause analysis for critical vibration issues. Perform Computation Fluid Dynamics analysis. Be fluent in all types of vibration engineering including but not limited to Acoustic-induced vibration (AIV), Flow-induced vibration (FIV), mechanically induced vibration, Be familiar and fluent in the engineering codes related to vibration including the Energy Institute, ASME Section VIII, API 579, API 618, API 610, API 674 as well as ASME B31.3 Develop robust, code-compliant vibration mitigation plans. Provide competent and consistent client interfacing.

Qualifications: Technical/Industry Experience Requirements:

8+ years of experience the analysis, design, and implementation of major engineering infrastructure, preferably in the transportation, oil and gas or mining and materials sectors. Acquired EIT certification, Acquired PE certification. Familiarity with metals and metallurgy and pipe specifications Ability to use CADD and other design software such as Autodesk, Revit Structural or Cadworx Ability to perform and review pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II Metallurgy / Material Expertise a plus. Knowledge in writing / creating pipe specifications a plus. Proven ability to lead mechanical and piping team. Proven ability to be an active and participatory member of an engineering-oriented team. Proven ability to communic te effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language Education, Training Requirements: Required: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Preferred: Graduate degree a plus Additional Information: Salary: $125,394.00 - $184,403.00 commensurate with experience Benefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.
