What will you do?
A day in the life of a Process Improvement Manager at VF looks a little like this.
You will spend time project managing, leading in-person and virtual teams, and supervising field studies us on improve store efficiencies by analyzing and standardizing processes and best practices, particularly around operational activities. The Process Improvement Manager will collaborate with store teams and field leaders to refine processes, and partner cross-functionally to align practices in supporting departments including supply chain, allocations, digital technologies, and learning & development. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in process improvement, project management, and retail operations. This role will support Vans, The North Face and Timberland.
Let’s break that down a bit more:
Conduct thorough assessments of existing store processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Create and implement standardized best practices across all stores to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
Lead and manage process improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Work closely with store managers, regional leaders, and cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive process improvements.
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure store staff are well-versed in new processes and best practices.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and make data-driven decisions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining processes to adapt to changing business needs.
Prepare and present regular reports on process improvement initiatives, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
What success looks like:
Continual evolution in the efficiency and effectiveness of retail stores processes, leading to improved 4-wall profitability and workforce productivity.
Structure for gathering and analyzing data on operational processes and using these to guide future decisions.
Engagement of store teams in evolving processes through training and communication.
What do you need to succeed?
Skills:
5+ years of related Retail Operations experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong proficiency and experience in process improvement methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Hiring Range :
$83,808.00 USD - $104,760.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
