The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Colorado Denver, has an open posting to fill Lecturer position as needed on a semester per semester basis.

The Downtown campus is located in the heart of the city's commercial, cultural and recreational district. Its location in downtown Denver attracts a diverse population, comprising of both traditional and non-traditional students. The teaching load for this lecturer position is a maximum of two Chemistry or Biochemistry courses per semester.

Salary and Benefits:

The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $1,250 per credit hour (lower division), $1,395 per credit hour (upper division), or $1,553 per credit hour (graduate level).

The above salary rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • An MS or MS in Chemistry or Biochemistry degree or a closely related field is required, and a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching.

  • Experience in the computer-based classroom is desirable.
