Job Description:

The Preschool Teacher works with the Early Learning Center at MSV Director to develop a high-quality and exemplary educational program responsible to child, parent, and staff needs. Is responsible for providing leadership to the teaching staff and helping to manage the daily programs within the Early Learning Center.

Scope.

As a Preschool Teacher you need to know how to:

-Supervise and assist children in daily hygiene routines, meals, toileting, etc. -Plan developmentally appropriate activities and facilitate play throughout the day. -Know curriculum content, plan and instruct children in all areas of the educational program cognitive, communication, fine and gross motor skills, affective, and behavioral. -Support and integrate arts and physical education objectives into the classroom. -Assist with orientation of new staff, new children, and volunteers -Transport children as needed or requested ? Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelors Degree from an accredited four year college in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Family and Child Development or Child Psychology, preferred -If degree is not in a related field, completed or working towards completing at least two (2) three-semester hour Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses with one being ECE 101: Introduction to ECE, required- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children, required. -Current Drivers License and must obtain Colorado Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Colorado, required- Motor vehicle record and proof of automobile insurance coverage to be updated annually, required

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $18.29 - $29.09
