You will work in one of our North American offices with the McKinsey Implementation (MI) team - a rapidly growing capability for our firm.

MI provides continuous, distinctive support to our clients to ensure they achieve and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey's recommended changes. Our implementation consultants are involved from strategy through execution with a disciplined eye on impact and sustainability at every stage of the project life cycle. We are developing a strong team and are looking for exceptional individuals to join us.

As an associate, you will join a client service team and take ownership of a workstream to solve some of the toughest challenges our clients face. Your qualifications and skills

An advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent work experience; requirements may vary by country or practice 6+ years of hands-on experience in a high-performance capital projects environment, specifically demonstrating leadership skills in performance improvement & change management Significant experience working on mega capital excellence construction projects, project management experience is preferred Field-based experience working on projects in one or more of the following industries: oil and gas, mining, energy, chemicals In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement programs, i.e., Lean/Six Sigma is desirable Strong interest and passion for coaching or mentoring clients Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s), with the ability to adjust your style to suit
