Robert Half HR/Payroll Specialist in Denver, Colorado
Description
We are in search of an HR Generalist to become a part of our team, based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will contribute to our team by managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with employee inquiries.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruiting and onboarding of all new hires.
Process and verify weekly payroll for approximately forty employees through the HRIS system, Paycor.
Assist with employment-related inquiries from employees.
Maintains DOT logs and files for drivers through a third party.
Assist and notify employees of benefits.
Reporting of workers’ compensation claims with follow-up as needed.
Maintain all employee files, I-9’s, driver files.
Assist with internal and external customer conflicts.
Responsible for developing and implementing procedures for all divisions.
Assists with financial close and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
3+ years of HR experience including: recruiting, onboarding & offboarding, HR compliance, employee relations and disciplinary experience, benefits administration, workers compensation, conflict resolution, maintaining employee files
1 year of payroll processing experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Bilingual preferred.
