Description
Robert Half has partnered with a private equity firm in Denver in search of a Fund Assistant Controller! The Fund Assistant Controller position is paying $100,000-$120,000 + bonus!
The Fund Assistant Controller will be responsible for the following:
Review quarterly consolidated fund reporting prepared by the fund administrator to ensure technical GAAP accuracy and ledger maintenance.
Supervise and review the work of fund accounting staff.
Act as key liaison between our organization and fund administrator related to fund and property accounting, capital calls and distributions, and management fee calculations.
Review all corporate-related accounting processes including T& E, A/P, and preparation of accurate and timely quarterly corporate financial reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Maintain a working knowledge of and monitor all accounting-related matters pertaining to the firm’s assets and entities.
Treasury management and maintaining cash oversight, including proposing capital calls and distributions.
Project manage period-end financial statement reporting, year-end audit and tax compliance.
Requirements for the Fund Assistant Controller include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of fund accounting experience
1+ years of supervisory experience
Real estate funds or private equity funds experience is preferred, but not required
CPA preferred, but not required
