Assists in good housekeeping and safety practices to maintain facility. * Essential Functions of the Job: _Administration_ * Assist with daily online record keeping involving accurate recordings of all grain transactions * Check-in customers when brining grain loans in * Probing trucks to get sample and assist with grading grain and record data for each load * Assist with answering phones * Maintain an attitude that promotes team work and a favorable image of the cooperative * Provide friendly customer service and good communication skills _ Facility_ * Possess flexibility and adaptability in meeting constraints and demands * Ability to read and follow detailed directions and learn new skills as required * Must have a full range of body motion including bending, squatting and twisting * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and reach work above shoulders * Other duties as assigned including ability to help at other Legacy locations as needed on short term basis * Working knowledge of the agricultural industry, grain facility operations including experience handling grain from pit to load out a plus * Requirements: * High school graduate preferred (with OABA Student Credential a plus) * Comfortable working in, around, and on top of grain bins and railcars * Maintain an attitude that promotes team work within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative * Ability to work well with others and independently * Help in any way possible to achieve Legacy’s mission and goals * Miscellaneous Information & Preferred Experience:* * No overnight travel * Standard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standard * Overtime as required * Applicants agree to be drug tested as a condition of employment and will not be hired should he/she fail to produce a negative test * Basic computer skills * Uphold all Legacy Farmers Cooperative’s policies * Possesses flexibility and adaptability in meeting constraints and demands * Stay-On Bonus of $1,000 if candidate stays at least 6 months You may visit our website at www.legacyfarmers.com to apply.
