Continuously monitoring and adapting to the business needs while planning accordingly, minimizing production downtime and unplanned equipment failure.This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager but will interact with all required functions necessary to provide the shop floor with resources required to meet goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Supports continuous improvement philosophy driving lean manufacturing principles.Lead 6S projects, SMED events, KaizenGenerating, driving and implementing continuous improvement projects which support the plants overall cost savings targets every year.Responsible for labor requirements, training and talent development, goal attainment, and continuous improvement within these areas.Direct efforts of maintenance and facilities team members to achieve daily manufacturing work schedules, driving team members to meet or exceed all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Take lead role in trouble-shooting facility and equipment problems, determine and coordinate resources needed for problem resolution.Maintain time and attendance tracking and other performance evaluation, for this area'sresponsibility.Partner with EHandS team to support company driven requirements and initiatives.Partner with plant Operations leader to mitigate risk through the planning of Capex requirements to support current activities and future projects.Assist operations with scheduling, printing, and distribution of work orders.Interface with other foreman to ensure efficient operations between shifts.All related supervisory duties as required.Who You AreYou always strive to do a good jobbut wouldnt it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
