Actalent Structural Project Manager in Decatur, Illinois

Job Title: Structural Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a Structural Project Manager who will participate in the planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects. The role involves inspecting and reviewing structural design calculations, plans, and reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards through quality assurance and quality control. You will also design box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls, and perform analyses of bridges and box culverts.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.

  • Inspect and review structural design calculations, plans, and reports.

  • Review for quality assurance and quality control to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Design box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls.

  • Complete analysis of bridges and box culverts.

Essential Skills

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience managing a bridge/structural project life cycle.

  • Proficiency in bridge design using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience.

  • Experience with civil 3D, box culvert, head walls, and retaining walls.

  • Must currently hold an SE or be eligible to obtain one.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Work Environment

Fully remote position with occasional visits to project sites 3-4 times yearly as needed. You will be part of the smallest department, working closely with one other team member. Enjoy a flexible working schedule and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.96/hr.
