Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Wire Harness Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bills of material. You will be responsible for assembling individual components into control systems and wiring harnesses, performing basic fabrication using hand tools, and assisting with inventory control and packaging of completed systems.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bills of material.
Assemble individual components into control systems and wiring harnesses.
Perform basic fabrication using hand tools such as wire crimpers and wire strippers.
Label and organize parts for assembly.
Assist with inventory control and packaging of completed systems.
Prepare and reconcile shipping documents and UPS packages.
Essential Skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Experience with hand tools and basic assembly processes.
Previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electrical, wire harness, hand tools, crimping, wiring, mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, harnesses.
Familiarity with assembly, cable, soldering, schematic, solder, electrical assembly, labelling, electronics, blueprint reading, electrical wiring, work instructions.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of 80% sitting and 20% standing. The role involves manual assembly and extensive use of hand tools, so candidates must be comfortable working with their hands all day. The facility is climate-controlled, and you will work within a small, friendly team. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (9-hour shift) and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (4-hour shift).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
