Job Duties:
As a Manual Machinist,
you will be responsible for setting up, operating,
and maintaining manual machine tools to produce precision parts and
components according to engineering specifications.
You will utilize a variety of manual machining techniques to fabricate metal and other materials for various industrial applications.
*Qualifications:*
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
Familiarity with manual machining techniques, tooling principles, and machining parameters. Understanding of metalworking processes and materials.
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and make sound decisions to ensure production efficiency and quality.
Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy in machining operations and quality inspection.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with colleagues and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
Willingness to learn new techniques, adapt to changing priorities, and embrace continuous improvement initiatives.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational training or apprenticeship in machining or related field preferred.
