Embedded Controls Software Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).  Support the development and review of project work plans regarding software engineering and translate product requirements into control system specifications and software designs that deliver the captured requirements.  Assist with troubleshooting vehicle/powertrain system functional and diagnostic issues, as well as determine and validate corrective actions and preventive measures. Capture and maintain requirements for vehicle control features, document changes using Ford's MBD process and tools, and support the creation and execution of validation plans using simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and in-vehicle resources. Support control system project planning and program management to meet functional, quality, and timing objectives.
