Shopko Optical is seeking a Production Lead to join our team at our manufacturing facility in De Pere, Wisconsin. POSITION SUMMARY: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production teammates within the Surface Department. Serve as the technical lead for the area. Be the expert on efficient operation of all equipment in the department. Key focus with their team to achieve quality, productivity and turnaround goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: OPERATIONS Plan, organize, direct, and control the work of staff to meet quality, productivity and turnaround goals in the Surface Department Interact with Production Manager Surface to coordinate efforts and communicate effectively with teammates. Monitor processes to ensure quality checks are carried out and develop countermeasures to correct defects Use problem solving techniques to proactively address issues or concerns within the department.
