As a quality assurance associate, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and packaging to make sure they meet quality requirements. The job involves the completion of daily QA reports and documentation. Candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests - Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests. - Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests. - Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste. - Controls and maintains personal inspection equipment to ensure proper use and calibration. - Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. - Expected to seek and improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications - Monitors Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and related documentation affecting the standards and specifications of product and verifies application to identified products. - Communicate required adjustments with appropriate departments to resolve documentation, hardware and assembly nonconformance issues. - Assists ISO Program Coordinator - Participates in 5S and Continual Improvement efforts. - Demonstrate safe behaviors and promote safe working environment. - Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
