ManpowerGroup Software QA Engineer in Davis, California
Our client, one of the manufacture and sale of machine the U.S., is looking for a Software QA Engineer in their Davis CA Location. This responsibility encompasses software validation and management of the overall QA process and workflow and providing daily coordination of QA tasks for the software applications developed. This position shares responsibility for building and maintaining test automation and retaining internal lines of communication and creating/refining departmental processes.

Salary range: $60,000 - $65000/year
About the Role:
Under direct supervision the incumbent will assist in the design, testing and evaluation of software that interacts with machine tools and other related devices.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear definition of specifications and requirements.
Generate test cases based on requirements and other documents.
Develop supporting applications and tools using high level programming languages and batch files to automate test and build procedures.
Requires good understanding of business application and works with software users and developers to understand expected use of the software and possible problems.
Requirements:
1+ years of software QA test or software development
Strong understanding of software fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
Proficient in software verification for web applications, desktop, and embedded software apps
