Eaton Corporation Sr. Pricing Analyst - Hybrid in Davenport, Iowa

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Davenport facility has 750+ (340+ bargaining unit and 400+ salaried employees) and is leader in in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace mission systems components, systems and services to the US defense and commercial global aftermarket and OEM markets. World Leader in Air to Air Refueling technology.

What you’ll do:

• Support Pricing and Cost Estimating Manager with all Pricing and Cost Estimating activities in the team

• Assist Pricing and Cost Estimating Manager with financial analyses

• Lead Pricing reviews and presentations to senior leadership

• Develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and oversee multi-million dollar proposals to government and commercial customers.

• Assure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) with regard to proposal preparation, review, submission and negotiations.

• Review and interpret the RFP (Request for Proposal) for all pricing requirements and work with the proposal teams to set up the approach and schedule required for bidding the proposal.

• Coordinate cost proposal efforts by interfacing with applicable departmental personnel including Finance, Contracts, Business Development, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Senior Management personnel, as well as customers and auditors.

• Estimate labor and material costs for manufacturing and engineering based on requests for proposals from internal and external customers.

• Research historical data in detail and develop fully traceable summaries.

• Develop spreadsheet models and create fully compliant and accurate proposals.

• Support changes or modifications with the customer, and participate as a member of the contract negotiation team.

• Incorporate and perform the final certification process as required on all certifiable proposals to the government.

• Assist in training other team members

• Analyze and respond to customer fact-findings and external audits.

• Possess a strong Excel background (ie. Lookups; pivots; data analysis)

• All other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

• 3 Years of Accounting, Finance, Pricing or related experience

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 70 miles of the facility will be considered.

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited institution is required.

• 5 Years of Accounting, Finance, Pricing or related experience

• Must be able to analyze, develop, and apply direct cost and performance data to develop estimates in support of new or follow-on business.

• Must be very detail oriented and possess the ability to organize large amounts of data while working independently in a face paced environment

• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, understand bills of material and product structures, and be able to develop cost estimates based on Engineering specifications.

• Cost Modelling and labor estimating experience with manufacturing, supply chain, and Engineering as regulated by FAR, DFARS, and TINA.

• Experience using ProPricer estimating software.

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
