Pay: $18-21/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team. As a Returns/Rework Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring carriers are safely unloaded on the correct receiving line with the correct material. You will be responsible for following standard operating procedures for equipment, machines, and tools.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the respective receiving line is kernel cleaned before a different material/tracking number requiring a kernel clean is unloaded.
Stage loading area by keeping a truck staged in the lane next to the truck being unloaded.
Verify information on the seed load ticket for accuracy and take it to the Sample Building.
Open trailer doors, secure the doors open after the truck is staged, operate the pit controls, and monitor the rate of unloading.
Abide by safety policies and procedures, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while completing any work on the property.
Follow lock out/tag out and other equipment safety policies and processes.
Maintain cleanliness of the work environment by sweeping, removing debris, etc., as workload allows and as required.
Report any accidents, near-miss incidents, potential hazards, safety violations, or other concerns to a leadership team member immediately.
Participate in any incident/accident investigations with teams as necessary to find the root cause of incidents.
Follow the direction of Agriscience Supervisors for additional work duties that may be necessary.
Essential Skills
6+ months of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Experience with production, general labor, assembly, packaging, and machine operation.
Proficiency in operating hand tools, performing heavy lifting, and using forklifts.
Knowledge of quality checks, bagging procedures, and safety protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas.
Capability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Experience in operating machinery and performing repetitive motions and lifting (minimum requirement of 50 lbs.).
Tolerance for exposure to weather and environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dust, cold).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
