Use your knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, etc. skills to help Honeywell SPS deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Ballistic, Chemical, etc. products by, testing and/or validating equipment. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the site's commitment to the organization and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and repair of CNC and Manual machines
Understanding of lock out / tag out procedures
Understanding and knowledge of general maintenance; mechanical, electrical and machinery
Participate in control of inventory of essential maintenance materials and critical equipment spare parts
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Maintain, install, repairs and troubleshoots machinery and mechanical equipment
Completes work orders and inspections as defined in preventative maintenance (PM) programs
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or equivalent; Prefer Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology
Minimum of Two years of job-related experience
Facility, and/or equipment maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of hand tools (power and pneumatic)
Ability to Work Independently and Under Pressure
Must be available to work overtime as needed, including weekend
Entering, recording, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
Maintain a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire length of shift
Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently
Bending, reaching, climbing three to 6 steps ladders
Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts and other material moving equipment.
Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish machines / tools and operate machines and tools.
Environmental Working Conditions:
- Majority of time spent in a shop setting where temperature can be warmer or colder, (subject to climate fluctuations). May also be exposed to outdoor environment subject to climate fluctuations.
Perform testing of equipment - 10%
Perform routine maintenance task - 40%
Review drawings and schematics – 10%
Perform equipment troubleshooting – 20%
Perform preventative maintenance inspections – 20%
