Medtronic Interventional Vascular Structural Heart(IVSH) provides interventional devices to treat coronary arteries that are blocked by atherosclerotic plaque and devices and therapies to treat structural defects of the heart.
We are currently looking for a2ndShift Manufacturing Quality Inspector IIwithin Project Oval to joinMedtronics Extrusion Technology Center of Excellence, located in Danvers, MA.
As a Manufacturing Quality Inspector you willbe responsible for the inspection, testing and/or verification of Materials and Finished Goods per documented work instructions within Project Oval Manufacturing.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Usepredetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
Usevarious measuring devices and testing equipment.
Accept, rejector reworkdefective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Workfrom blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Performline clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Available to work 2nd Shift.
Nice to Have
Previous medical device inspection experience
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Problem solving skills
Certified SAP Power User
Knowledge of the English and Metric measuring systems with the ability to perform mathematical conversions to each.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to work well on teams.
Available for limited travel - for training purposes.
Experience with GMP requirements and medical industry requirements.
