You will work directly with residents who enjoy life to the fullest while being provided with an accommodating environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FOR CNA:**

• Delivers direct care to residents (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LPN in charge.
• Always maintains resident's comfort and safety.
• Observes, reports, and documents symptoms and conditions of residents.
• Reviews, reads, notates, and initializes daily logs to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident's physical and/or behavioral changes.
• The CNA assists residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living).
• The CNA helps maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident adhering to the standards of Resident Rights.
• The CNA will strive to understand and respond to each resident with empathy; always mindful of the resident's unique communication patterns and history.
• Checks residents for changes in skin condition, sides effects of medication, and overall health conditions
• Notifies supervisor if resident has increased care needs.
• Ensures established safety procedures are being followed at all times
• The CNA will maintain universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.

*CNA QUALIFICATIONS: *Valid Connecticut CNA License

Schedule: **

• 8-hour shift
• Every other weekend a must
