Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Dallastown, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd & 3rd shift!

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery. This role involves ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, supporting production, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and make repairs on production equipment.

  • Support production by ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.

  • Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system.

  • Assist with established preventive maintenance activities and identify new opportunities for improvement.

  • Program Variable Frequency Drives or Servo motor drives.

  • Troubleshoot PLC programs and robotics equipment.

  • Accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments including meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.

  • Read and understand Maintenance Work Orders.

  • Mentor and train existing and new maintenance employees.

  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations, including LOTO and wearing all required PPE.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.

  • Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience

  • Well-rounded mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment and PLCs

  • Experience in building and grounds maintenance

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallastown, PA

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59862.00 - $82368.00/yr.

  • Medical, Dental and Vision options: available through United Healthcare

o Medical: 3 plans ($900, $1850, $3300 deductibles)

o Dental: 3 plans (Basic Plus, Enhanced, and Premier)

o Vision: 2 plans (Standard and Enhanced)

o Vacation - Length of Continuous Service

 Less than 5 years – 2 weeks

 5 years – 3 weeks

 5 years or more – 4 weeks

o Holiday – 12 paid holidays (7 fixed and 5 floating)
