We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer who is both strong in Object oriented development and has experience building user interfaces. To help maintain and build out our catalog of native TV applications. The Software Engineer will engage stakeholders, assist in architecture design, and mentor junior engineers to help meet product goals. The individual contributor will report to a Sr. Manager. We are a close-knit team, focused on solving challenging problems that make a difference in our business. We concentrate on high- impact, high-value development, and in this role, you’ll be delivering the software that helps us grow. In this role we are looking for experience in XML and HTML, and ideally strong in C++, Java, JS, and/or Angular. We pride ourselves on working in a collaborative environment, and to do so we are in our Dallas office 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do:
Encourage Quality: Implement automated testing, code review, and thorough documentation to ensure high-quality software.
Organization: Manage your time and tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Communication: Collaborate with internal software teams, product management, and business teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
Build Trust: Mentor junior developers and build strong relationships with internal and external teams through honesty and support.
Innovation: Introduce and implement new ideas to enhance user experience and add value to our products.
What You’ll Bring:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in C++, Java, JavaScript, or Angular, with a strong background in XML and HTML.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in implementing user interfaces for consumer electronics.
Preferred Skills: Experience in game development (Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot) and animation libraries (Spine) is a plus.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering polished user experiences.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge gaps and create a shared vision.
Efficiency: Ability to identify and implement ways to streamline productivity and efficiency in existing processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
