About the Systems Trainer Role

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting our associates in performing their day-to-day functions within our accounting and property management applications, while proactively implementing improved workflows and providing training across all applications. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between the Accounting, Integrations, Marketing, IT and Property Management departments and ensuring that product owners have their needs met.

Systems Trainer Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Provide technical assistance and support for corporate and on-site associates

  • Train and coach new and existing employees on workflows/procedures related to property management software via webinar, telephone and in person session

  • Provide excellent documentation and training material regarding all business applications

  • Creating and modifying user manuals for property management systems

  • Research, implement and train new procedures in property management software

  • Respond and manage incoming service desk tickets through Phone, Email and Service Desk software

  • Maintain Accounting Software through implementations and best practices in relation to AP, AR, G/L, and Financial Reporting & Analytics

  • Ensure all business units are being supported through their queries

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or computer Science preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of accounting related experience

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service-related experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Yardi, RealPage, and OneSite software

  • Basic knowledge of on-site property management operations

  • General computer knowledge and troubleshooting techniques

  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite

Skills and Requirements

  • Understanding of adult learning styles, including e-learning, and how they are different.

  • Proficiency in project management skills to create project plans, track and monitor progress, meet production and delivery deadlines, and oversee project implementation across multiple properties or geographic areas.

  • Detailed oriented and desire to learn.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling

  • Typically, normal business hours Monday – Friday.

  • Ability to travel (25 -50%)

Environment

  • Exposure to environment typically found in an office building.
