COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL
AN EXPERIENCED AND TALENTED COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL IS URGENTLY NEEDED FOR A HIGH PROFILE IN-HOUSE POSITION IN ONE OF THE FINEST COMPANIES IN UPTOWN DALLAS!
Assume any career move that you make won’t go smoothly. It usually doesn’t! But don’t look back—you have your whole life ahead of you! This position is one you can really get involved in. Your responsibilities will be varied. Here is what you get to do:
Assist in drafting and managing various documents related to real estate transactions, including escrow instructions, title and survey review, entity formations, UCC searches, local transfer requirements and due diligence.
Serve as primary point of contact for title companies
Prepare closing documents including special warranty deeds and partial releases of lien
Review closing statements prepared by the title company
Calculate loan release prices and coordinate approvals with lenders
Track builder sale contracts and amendments and earnest money deposits
Assist in-house attorneys and outside counsel with preparation of builder contracts and amendments
Prepare agricultural lease agreements and terminations
Assist in-house attorneys in preparation of HOA documents and deeds conveying water rights
Assist in-house attorneys with response to buyer title objections
Serve as a mentor to and provide leadership and training for mid- and entry level paralegals and paralegal clerks.

You will work directly with your Attorneys in supporting the representation of real estate developers, owners, tenants, investors and lenders in transactional matters. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in the Real Estate & Property industry.
• Demonstrated experience in Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate Investment.
• Proficiency in Real Estate - Leasing, Real Estate - Commercial, and Real Estate - Title.
• Familiarity with Residential Real Estate is required.
• Strong ability in preparing and reviewing documentation related to real estate transactions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
