  • This role is responsible for coordinating wih contract carriers, wholly owned carriers, and ground handlers for schedule development, headcount forecasting, and operational improvement opportunities.

  • The role is a part of the Regional Planning team within our Regional division.

What you'll do

  • Lead manpower planning readiness initiatives across the six regional carriers and two ground handlers

  • Analyze hiring needs and industry trends to support operational readiness and future growth

  • Liaise with Ops Performance and Planning and Network Planning to implement schedule review comments and oversee schedule phasing issues for special projections

  • Drive operational religability through schedule improvement initiatives

  • Act as the point of contact externally, and source of truth internally, for crew capability information from regional carriers

  • Develop forecast and presentations to provide internal recommendations regarding staffing supportability and special programs

  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure Regional strategic initiatives effectively planned, resourced, and executed in alignment with company objectives

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

  • 5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • MBA

  • 5+ years airline experience, including at least 3+ years of commercial or operational experience

  • Previous management or other leadership experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to develop team

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision; appropriately prioritize projects to meet all critical deadlines

  • Strong analytical, negotiations and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational abilities

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as other MS Office software
