Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas

Description We are in search of a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization, with a particular focus on account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that provides the chance to make significant contributions to our finance department.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Assisting in cleaning up reconciliations and implementing processes and procedures for efficient operation

• Creating and posting journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate financial reports

• Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported in a timely manner

• Conducting daily reconciliation of bank accounts to maintain financial control

• Utilizing Sage Intacct software for efficient and accurate financial management and reporting. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary.

• Mastery of Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• In-depth understanding of General Ledger management is expected.

• Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in Month End Close processes is essential.

• Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation is necessary.

• Daily Reconciliation skills are required.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus.
