  • This role is a part of the Flight Operations team within the Integrated Operations group.

  • This position will be responsible for initiating, coordinating, and processing flight operations standardization projects/manual revisions in addition to special projects as assigned.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate revisions with flight operations management, chief pilots, fleet captains, and technical pilots to ensure standardization of procedures across aircraft fleets and establish timelines and deadlines to meet submission and publishing/posting dates

  • Maintain FrameMaker (FM) source files on the server and posted/published Adobe Acrobat documents (pdfs) on Comply365, AAPilots, Flight Operations SharePoint site, and Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro

  • Review documentation to identify revised content for inclusion into applicable flight operations manual/document

  • Standardize Company manuals/document structure and formats to comply with flight publications and distribution group writing/grammar standards

  • Proofread and edit documents produced by other team members to help promote Company and departmental standards

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training/experience

  • 3+ years of airline experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Flight Operations Experience

  • Full understanding of the following with respect to the certificate holder's operation:

  • Aviation safety standards and safe operating practices

  • 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulation)

  • Certificate holder's operation specifications

  • Private Pilot certificate

  • Experience in publishing software to include Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat Pro

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Working knowledge of flight operations terminology, policy, and procedures

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure of changing priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to interface with various levels of the organization and external agencies/professional associates/vendors

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team

  • Ability to exercise good judgement and maintain strict confidentiality

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Internet, and other electronic information sources
