Description
Amazon's Delivery FP&A team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a critical role focused on managing financial reporting, operational performance analysis, and headcount reporting for the Amazon Delivery Team.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert in headcount management and manage the Headcount Management Tool (ROSTER)
Generate headcount reports, perform variance analysis and support operational planning processes
Develop and provide detailed narratives and commentaries for monthly, quarterly, and annual financials
Partner with finance leaders to review, cross-check, and update commentary tool information
Create and maintain weekly business reviews, monthly/quarterly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models
Identify and resolve complex data integrity issues
Lead network process standardization efforts to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting
Be the SME for Reporting
Collaborate with Tax, Accounting, and Financial Systems teams for financial accuracy and headcount/Opex planning
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, and Cognos
Python knowledge
Strong analytical and modeling capabilities
Experience in financial reporting and process improvement
Strong capability to deliver accurate reports under tight deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
